   Ipecacuanha), largely employed as an emetic; also, the plant

   plants are used as a substitutes; among them are the black or
   Peruvian ipecac (Psychotria emetica), the white ipecac
   (Ionidium Ipecacuanha), the bastard or wild ipecac
   (Asclepias Curassavica), and the undulated ipecac
   (Richardsonia scabra).
