   Skinking.] [Icel. skenja; akin to Sw. sk[aum]ka, Dan.
   skienke, AS. scencan, D. & G. schenken. As. scencan is
   usually derived from sceonc, sceanc, shank, a hollow bone
   being supposed to have been used to draw off liquor from a
