   the same numerical value; as in isopod, isomorphous,

   (b) (Organic Chem.) Applied to compounds of certain isomeric
       series in whose structure one carbon atom, at least, is
       connected with three other carbon atoms; -- contrasted
       with neo- and normal; as in isoparaffine; isopentane.
